Kate turns 6!

On Kate's actual birthday, we had our traditional CPK dinner. The sisters made sure she was wearing what they call the birthday dress. We sent out invitations for the perfect summer party:

She was SOO excited!

We got everything set up early in the day to warm up the water in the pools. They had a blast playing on the playset and pools and slip 'n slide, blowing bubbles, then we went inside watched the Barbie mermaid movie, had cake and ice cream, opened presents and gave the girls their party favors.

Kate just looks smashingly beautiful in that first picture! I love the barbie cake soooo much!

Agreed with Candice/Bry--Kate is so insanely gorgeous!!! Like model gorgeous. And at 6! (The best age, btw.) So super jealous I missed the Barbie pool party. :( I expect some partyliciousness next summer!
