ADB's Birthday

We have a great tradition of a Buskirk family hike and ice cream to celebrate Grandpa's birthday in July. This year, the Johnsons were coming down to Provo to pick up the older boys from EFY, so we decided on an early morning hike to the Y.

It was super crowded, but we had a great time. We were glad to have finished the hike before the sun came over the mountain, 'cause it was a hot day! Everybody made it the whole way, though for some reason coming down Leah got freaked out by the slippery dirt and decided to scream her way down the mountain. That was pleasant, as you can imagine. Then we headed back to our place for a big Buskirk Breakfast. Yum! It is so fun to hang out with the family!

Ella and Sarah are getting so big! Good way-big. Not fat-big. They could be teenagers. And what a sweet tradition to involve the whole B-clan in.
