On the docket for Thursday was downtown Boston. We parked under Boston Common and walked through the Public Garden on our way to the Prudential Center
Since it was quite chilly out, we decided to take a duck tour and magically bumped into my cousin Anthony as we were buying tickets.
Sarah and Ella both got to drive to duck on the water
We were so excited to find a Wagamama at the Prudential Center -- yum! (Allen found them in London and was converted)

When we lived here, this spot was a crumbling bit of I-93 with a pane of glass where you could look down into the Big Dig. Now the elevated freeway is gone and they've planted this beautiful greenway. Wow. Stunning. Changes the whole nature of the area right there by the haymarket.
All of the pastries at Modern Pastry were fabulous, but I should have gotten the Cannoli like Allen did.
But how could I resist?

At the old Orange Line t-stop -- we were flustered because they don't use tokens anymore!
Spring is a couple of weeks behind the Mid Atlantic so we got Cherry Blossoms again!
Such a fun trip. The kids were great. The car DVD players made even the 8 hour return trip on Friday a pleasure
