Crawling Along
Little Leah has figured out some great new skills in the past little while. Sheeffortlessley transitions from sitting to her belly then up on all fours. She rocks around on hands and knees and likes to be in crawling position. Last night she even managed to get from hands and knees back to sitting which is great. All of the sisters cheered for her and she was pretty proud of herself. She doesn't do a traditional crawl yet, she flops to her belly and uses her toes to help her stretch to reach what she wants. She does manage to make her way around or across the room with time though. It's all very exciting.

It's so nice when you have a little one who is getting mobile and you can focus on enjoying it, instead of freaking out that the house isn't babyproofed! I love having older kids (and a baby/kid friendly house already), because I enjoy the younger ones more and the older ones, too. Yay for her!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. First of all, Leah is definitely the cutest child in the world. Second, yay for her almost crawling! Third, I bet it makes achieving easier when you have older sisters to cheer you on. We should know, right? :)
ReplyDeleteShe really is such a cutie. How exciting for her to be mobile. Don't you love the older siblings cheering her on? So fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm still obsessed with these pictures, fyi
